Nice refrigerator with good space saving design.only complaint is with the quality of the water. Filter does not leave bottled water tasting water and amount of cold water is minimal. Old frig produced great tasting cold water. This is unsatisfactory

Atrocious customer service and worse logistics

Ordered 4 products in 8/29. LG delayed delivery until mid September. Turns out it was because this model was never really in stock. Took nearly a dozen calls to finally cancel the order because of LG and RXO not communicating and blaming each other. Most importantly LG was unwilling to exchange the order for a similar item I would have to wait for a non-existent refrigerator. Finally just bought a better item for nearly identical money from Home Depot which is being delivered in under 48 hours. Poor policies and bad customer service literally cost LG more margin. If the products werent better than most other brands for the same money.

Ordered from LG direct. Received wrong refrigerator after a nightmare with delivery company. Three weeks later I get the wrong frig does not have the feature I wanted. LG will not honor sales promo on another frig plus will not return calls. In the end I have to wait another 5 days for another refund an all the sales are gone. I asked to talk to a manager to be able to still stay with LG. After two days of NO call back I call again. I was trying to buy. $3000.00 appliance.. you would think they would want business. Guess not. I will never buy LG again. I really tried without being negative.. I sure hope this is not how they work with repairs as well. So after three weeks I will go to a retail store and purchase.

Best Refrig Ive owned so far

Ive had my new LG refrig for over 2 months. First thing I notice is how much more room it has than my prior 26cu ft side by side. Next is that it is whisper quiet. The prior refrig made a LOT of noise when the compressor came on. Last is how quiet the ice maker is and it definitely makes enough ice for me as I use about 1 tray a day. The doors open easily but youll need to push them shut and a little bell goes off if you leave any of the doors or drawers open over about 30 seconds. Easily the best refrig. I have ever owned.

Nicest Fridge we have owned.

Without a doubt the nicest refrigerator weve owned. This fridge is perfect for our needs. The open door chime is great for those with small children or absent minded adults. The lighting in all the compartments is excellent. The bottom drawer freezer is very roomy. It contains the ice maker bin on an upper drawer in the freezer which is almost like a slide out shelf within the bottom drawer. This refrigerator has a full convert drawer between the top fridge and the bottom freezer. This drawer has temperature settings that give it the versatility to be used as a fridge 37F wine chiller 41F deli / snacks 37F cold drink 33F or meat/seafood 3OF We are using it at the default fridge temperature of 37F. Please be aware the temperature settings are limited to predetermined settings. The control panel is located on the right inside wall and is easy to use. The fridge has two ice-makers. One in the freezer and one in the left door that also contains the crushed ice water and cubed ice dispenser on the outside of the door. It is also a smart refrigerator that is compatible with LGs Thin Q app. This phone app can control the refrigerator and also provide you with current info about the refrigerator. The app has advised me a couple of times to empty the door ice maker. If the ice isnt used regularly the cubes freeze together which can cause the dispenser to malfunction. It is my opinion that the refrigerator s shelves could use a bit more position-ability. We had to compromise on shelf position by laying down a 2 liter soda bottle rather than having a shelf to accommodate the height of the bottle. So far that is the only weak point I can point out. The control panel is located on the right inside wall and is easy to use. Be sure you have water access behind the fridge for the two ice makers and a three prong receptacle for the electricity preferably on the wall behind the refrigerator. You will be all set to enjoy this magnificent refrigerator when its installed.

Excellent design and space extremely quiet

Love this french style refrigerator and it has so much more space than my previous side by side even though they were both 26 cu ft. There isnt a big nice maker that takes up a lot of room just a drawer that holds the ice made and so far I have never run out of ice. Shelves are interesting but the one that holds tall bottles wine soda pitchers is very limited. I prefer to put these items in main refrig. not the doors but the shelves are too narrow to hold them unless they are laying down and possibly leak. Totally silent when running the inverter compressor and the ice drop is reasonably quiet as well. The outside is easy to keep clean of finger prints This completes my collection of LG appliances washer dryer electric stove and refrig.. So far they are the best appliances I have owned in the past 50 years of having my own home.

Very nice - just a couple quirks from perfect

I have had this fridge for a couple weeks and its almost perfect but has some quirks other may want to be aware of. I would buy again as its beautiful and fits my space and needs perfectly. I bought this french door counter depth flex drawer fridge with in door ice as it enables me to have more freezer space by using the flex drawer as a freezer for quick access frozen meals and veggies and disabling the lower ice maker for more deep freezer space. It also does not have the gimmicky ice spheres on the prior model which I have no use for. It is a nice depth vs many of the other max fridges which stick out quite far I replaced a side by side and the 36-38 deep fridges dont work in my kitchen. Another benefit is you can reach to the back of the shelves. The in door ice is plenty for my needs and I like the crushing feature. The doors are magnetic odd for stainless so I suspect its not actually stainless but good if you want to decorate. I find the plastic compartments a little cheap/thin and there is very very little shelf configurability and no options to adjust door shelf positions. I actually may end up removing 1 or 2 shelves they split left/right so I can put taller stuff in as once you move them to make space there is only 2 or 3 inches between shelves and no good way to reach to the back in that narrow space. The crisper bins could also be a little shallower which would give more shelf space but that is likely personal preference. Visibility is very good and as an adult I dont have to bend over for anything except deep freeze items which is nice as you get older. The top slide in the large freezer compartment doesnt come all the way forward which makes access a little harder to access so I would prefer it to pull all the way out though this is common on most bottom freezers with ice makers. Other nits are I miss not having a butter compartment in the door - that would be a nice accessory as well slide out shelves and a bin option that could hang under a shelf - would be nice for that narrow space. Its also not quite deep enough for a large pizza box so if you want that buy the full depth model. Freezer drawers on mine work well though some others reported they were sticky once cold. I am having a problem with the left door staying ajar/not closing automatically as it should because the part that folds around between the french doors is not able to get past right door gasket flaps. Annoyingly the door is so close to closed the interior light turns off and it and is not triggering the door alarm so this has risk for causing a food/frost disaster and my main reason for 4 stars vs 5. I have tilted the unit backwards which hasnt resolved the issue though it works sometimes vs not at all prior to that the soft close feature which should be good usually slows the door enough to not have momentum to push past the gasket even if you try to slam it. I have tried others in the store and their door gasket doesnt seem to kink in the way mine does so I am hoping replacing that will resolve the issue not reported yet except here so not faulting LG. If the right door is pulled ever so slightly it works fine so it really seems to be that the gasket is just a mm or two too far back due to a curve/bend in the flap part at the top and bottom.

We like the frig in general however the in-door water/ice/crushed ice select button is difficult to activate. An abnormal amount of pressure is required to cycle between selections. Secondly the convert drawer which we use for beverages and is the main reason we bought this style has a corrugated bottom prohibiting soda cans from standing upright if the drawer is not completely full. Opening and closing a less than full drawer causes the cans to fall over and roll from front to back. Very poor design.

A Brand New Refrigerator and IT DOES NOT WORK

We received the LG refrigerator on 05/16/24. After installation the water/ice dispenser did not work. A LG technician was scheduled for 05/24/24. He determined the PC board needed to be replaced. - On 05/30/24 he replaced the PC board and it did not resolve the problem. He then ordered a new mother board. While waiting for the mother board the refrigeration went out completely. - On 06/03/24 he replaced the mother board and it did not resolve the problem neither. He determined the unit has internal wire damage from the factory. The unit is not repairable by LG DMST and the entire refrigerator needs to be replaced. - We have been dealing with the sales person since 06/03/24. As of today we dont know when the refrigerator will be replaced. We bought a brand new refrigerator it has been almost a month and we have no working refrigerator.
