We bought the Speed Queen after going through 3 washers in 20 years. After conducting some research, reviewing in showroom, discussing with longterm store, and most importantly a customer standing in line to purchase a part for his Speed Queen, we new were making a sound purchase. The customer inline purchasing the part is the key salesman and should get commission. He stated that they purchased theirs seven years ago after going through several washers. I didn't get a chance to question the need for the part. He stated that they have eight kids and have never had an issue one until now and the part he was needing was a simple relay and housing that had cracked and vibrated connection lose. Simple fix and they have no regrets. We are looking forward to the same results, just a lot less loads of laundry in such a short time.

By far the most durable machine I've purchased! It is way quieter than all the others I've had and doesn't jump all over the room, I can open the lid to add garments to the washer if I need to. Gets clothes really clean. Not all computerized, very basic, easy to run and less to go wrong. Only downer is there is no load size to pick from, but all other benefits out way that one option. Good heavy duty solid machine, a little more in price than I wanted to spend but I feel I got what I payed for. I would highly recommend!

This is a pricey washer but well worth it. Does a heavy duty load in about 35 minutes compared to an hour to an hour and a half for a regular washer. The savings on the electric bill adds up. Also gets clothes very clean. Not normal dirty clothes, dairy farm dirty clothes!!!

I wish I knew years ago I could purchase a commercial washing machine for home use. This machine cleans the clothes thoroughly, clothes are submerged in water not sloshing around with minimal water level its own dirty water like the machines you buy at large home improvement stores. Cycles are done consistently and no unnecessary whistles and bells. My whites are white. I can't say enough about this machine. This machine rocks!

I am surprised that this machine does not have a way for me to just rince the tub out, like just a rince cycle. If I want to clean the tub, I have to set it to the entire wash cycle. Very disappointing. After washing some rags, the tub was dirty and I had to just wipe it out with a clean rag instead of rinsing it with a rinse cycle. Way too much money for not enough options. Kind of disappointed.

My mother-in-law's experience with Speed Queen appliances got me interested in purchasing this high quality and durable brand. I purchased a Speed Queen dry two years ago and have been 100% pleased with how it performs in all dryer settings. The User Guide is very good in explaining the proper way of drying laundry items. Last year, I purchased their Top Load washer. Again, the User Guide is top notch! I have been completely satisfied with how it cleans the wash load in cold, warm or hot water. The high spin cycle is amazing. I am convinced that Speed Queen is the way to go!

This purchase was the worst mistake of my life. I bought this washing machine telling the wife it's the best built washing machine and we won't have any problems for years. What a joke, not even one wash and this thing is buzzing so loud you can hear it out on the street. Already had tech look at it multiple times with little or no help. This washing machine has already cost my family over $1,700.00 because of lost work needing to wait the whole day for when a technician can show up. Yes, that's right no appointments, just tells you we will be there sometime that day you just need to be there all day and wait. Won't exchange it won't let me return it, there was obviously NO quality check before it left the factory, this all started on the FIRST wash. I dread every time I need to use it, just a pathetic excuse for an appliance. I would in no way recommend anything from this company. Do yourself a favor and buy a . You can buy 3 of those for the money I am stuck with on this thing. Wish I could post a video of it, but it won't let me. Maybe when I have some vacation to burn, I'll try and get some help again.

Yes, it's a very good washing machine. I only wish it had these features (which I understand may have controlled by government over-regulation). My old Kenmore Heavy Duty washing machine from the early 1970's had these features and I miss them: 1.) a "mini" wash/rinse water level 2.) a "low" wash/rinse water level 3.) a "medium" wash/rinse water level (although the regular wash/rinse water level - not "Deep Fill" is close to this) 4.) I wish I could fill wash water with the lid open 5.) I wish the washer could agitate with the lid open 6.) I wish the washer had a "warm rinse" option

This machine reminds me of the very good washers from years past. It washes very well in a much shorter time than the Maytag I got rid of after only 5 years. I appreciate the no lid lock feature. I have been telling my friends about the Speed Queen and all have remarked that they have not heard the name in quite some time but knew it was a very good washing machine. It is a robust machine so it may not be the quietist. But it washes very well. And the 5 year warranty was a great selling point. So glad to have an agitator too m

I like that the machine doesn't have a lid lock and that the water level isn't based on what some sensor says it should be. I do wish that it had a small load setting. All this has is one load size, plus a deep fill option for larger loads...but no option for a small load. Whose bright idea was that?? I also wish the water would continue to fill the tub with the lid open so that I can rinse out my liquid detergent cup, but I can deal with that. There were things that I liked better about my old washing machine, but it died, and this was the best option I had for a new machine. Didn't want to keep buying old, repaired machines and having to replace them every couple of years. New, with a warranty, seemed like the best idea.

That is what we got and we couldn't be happier. In a house with two daughters who are also athletes, next to the dishwasher, the washer and dryer and going almost 7 days a week. They have a "cheap" look to them and even feel a bit flimsy due to the doors not weighting 100lbs (exaggeration), but they get the job done and less issues to go wrong in the future.

MOST HORRIBLE PRODUCT FROM MOST HORRIBLE COMPANY -

I WOULD GIVE YOU 0 STARTS, BUT THAT WAS NOT AVAILABLE. This has been the most unfortunate purchase, from the most horrible Airport Appliance and dealing with Speed Queen has been a nightmare. This machine would not fill up for months. Everything comes out with the same stains as when they went in. This is supposed to be a commercial grade washer. If i washed by hand, they'd be 10 times cleaner. Speed Queen refused to get us a new one or to come and fix for free. SQ said if they come here and the problem is from Airport Appliance's install, they would charge ME!!!!!! I AM STUCK W/ A PIECE OF DEFECTIVE CRAP FOR $1600. Doing laundry and having clean laundry used to be a joy. Now, its a waste of my time, my money $1600, no clean laundry even when I use bleach the whites are dirty. I am not a teenager and don't have major stains to wash. I have very simple colors, whites, towels etc..... SHAME ON YOU, SPEED QUEEN

The best, however I was surprised there was no "Small Load" option. Also surprised it doesn't Spin harder so the items come out dryer.
