KitchenAid Celebrating a Century Rebate

Offer Expires: 9/26/2019 to 12/31/2019 Must be postmarked by: 1/30/2020

Receive up to a $1600 rebate with purchase of qualifying KitchenAid Appliances. Rebate form must be postmarked by 1/30/2020.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

pretty, but some problems

Iowamom 6/3/2019

I saved and bought this beautiful duel fuel, double oven range in December 2018. Now, at the beginning of June, I have had to have all the knobs replaced because they are peeling. A cheap tin foil like covering on a kitchen aid knob?!?! I'm afraid this will be an ongoing problem since all 5 knobs are affected. The repairman stated that the heat from the burners does this. Well, if I plan to use the burners, then there will always be heat. That is what a stove is for! The bottom oven does not heat up to desired temperature without constant restarting. Then it goes down 20 degrees and stays there. I have had it checked and they reset the temps but it still has too large of a range from 20 degrees below to 20 degrees higher than desired setting.

Nice features at this price

Dan47 5/15/2019

This appliance checked almost all our boxes - two ovens and dual fuel. For the most part it has worked well in the two months we have had it. A few minor concerns: the low temperature limit is 170 F. This is too high and the temp limit was impossible to find prior to purchase, despite our efforts to do so. 170 still cooks food and is way too high to proof bread. 100 would be much more useful. The largest round burner is difficult to light. The surface burners do not work when the power is off, so one cannot cook during power outages. The larger burners seem to leak gas a little. This was worse when the appliance was first installed. The gas company could not detect any leaks, but we still get a gas smell from time to time.

Ok or good

Farmer Dell 5/6/2019

Top of gas stove is nice. Had it for 5-months and the burner igniter went out!! It took three weeks to get it fix!! To fix that was not a easy job it was total taking apart to fix it Wow! I thou double oven would be nice. But top oven is to small to get your hands in there and the rack doesn't come out only like two inches. The bottom oven it's not friendly to use. Top rack on the bottom has no back to it use things can slide off the back of it into the oven that makes a mess!

Great Range!!!

Gramma in the kitchen 5/4/2019

Solid construction- commercial quality. Cook-top knobs have to be depressed before turning- great safety feature. After hookup, gas would not initially flow to the burners- a message scrolled in the display to check that all knobs were in the "off" position- greater safety feature. Dual fuel is ideal giving us an open flame for stove-top cooking and electric for even baking. Love the double oven. Great features - great looks - great range!!!

Scratches easily

mbav8r 4/1/2019

We've had this for a week now and even though we are very careful the cast iron grates scratch the stainless very easily. The legs have a rubber or silicone but the joints have no protection and are clearly what causes the scratches, the joints could be coated and would prevent this. Otherwise, this looks great in our kitchen and love the two separate ovens so far.

kylemaul 3/25/2019

Absolutely love the dual fuel option as I did not want a gas oven. I love everything about this oven. Make sure your power connection is at least 45amp for the duel fuel option. I like the oblong burner for the griddle or large pots, and the double oven option is great. the finishes and blue interior are beautiful

New Range

Chef Joy 3/23/2019

We have had this item for a little over 2 months now. We have been very happy with it. A couple of issues we have had, nothing that is a big deal. 1) During install we found that the back of the range is completely flush. Where the one we replaced had, kind of like a cut out area but still with a cover. So the old range would go flush against wall and over the gas connection on the wall. New one has to stick out a few inches from the wall due to back being completely flush, again no biggie. 2) Top oven light burned out real quick but easy enough to replace. 3) Tighter squeeze in top oven than expected, make sure you're wearing oven MITTS. Overall we have been very happy with this range and continue to learn all the bell and whistles of it.

Happy so far!

Chester's mom 3/19/2019

I've had my range for about a month. Love the double ovens. Top oven bakes great- better than anticipated. Love the roasting feature of the lower oven. I can roast vegetables in about half the time my old oven took. Lower oven is slow to preheat. Burners all work great. Wish the stainless finish was more smudge proof. It is a great looking range though! Recommend checking your gas connection location before delivery, as we found our existing gas connection does not line up with the oven design and we are having to have our gas connection moved so that the oven will not stick out too far. Our old range was designed where it was recessed across the back, but the KA range only has a small area recessed on the back left side for the connection.

Bob JF 3/13/2019

Pretty range. The main oven will not bake. KitchenAid did replace the controller eventually, but on bake it goes to "sleep". Preheat to 350, wait 20 minutes and the oven is at 275. Cooktop also scratches easily.

On The Struggle Bus

Indy Tom 2/23/2019

KitchenAid is evidently having issues in the Quality Control division of their manufacturing process. I purchased this unit over two months ago. I love the stove but couldn't get anyone in customer service to help me figure out how the back of the unit was constructed. I needed to know if their was an indention to allow for the gas and electrical connection. (There is not). The back of the unit is a straight shot to the floor which means it will stick out from the wall at least 5 to 6 inches if your electrical outlet and gas line are not recessed into the wall. No one at the Customer Service Contact Center could help me figure that out nor did they have any suggestions for how I could obtain the information short of visiting a retailer and hoping that there was a unit on display. I received the first unit and within two weeks noticed that the blue enameling on the inside was flaking off after each use of the stove. I was wiping out a bit of over spill and cut myself on the enamel shards. That unit went back. The replacement unit arrived in factory packaging and had a large dent in the bottom of the frame that is causing the lower door to scrape against the frame. I am fine with a cosmetic dent on the back or sides but this is impacting the function of the door. That unit is going back and we are going to hope that number three is usable. I would still recommend the unit because I love the look and have always heard good things about KitchenAid. Please don't prove me wrong. This is definitely not the customer service or product experience I would have expected for a unit that retails for close to $3,000.00.

Very useful

marion54 2/17/2019

We've had this range about 2 years. It cooks really well and we especially like the dual fuel feature. However, at random times there will be a "buzzing" sound coming from the back panel which is akin to the scratching on a chalkboard. I would really like to know how to eliminate this noise permanently.

Looks Great

Blondemom2 2/6/2019

We loved the looks of this oven and the fact that it is dual fuel really intrigued us . It is very hard to keep clean looking it streaks like crazy when you wipe it down. I usually have to go over it 3 x to get it streak free and clean and we do not fry ! We cleaned the oven a few weeks ago on the lowest setting as it was not THAT. Dirty. As I was wiping the ashes up I saw that the enamel was cracking off on the lower right side I got about 3 good sized pieces up from that corner and have a repair person coming next Tuesday to check on my 4 month oven and see how I can be compensated . I can't say don't bother with this stove but things are not going smoothly so far

High Density Power House

Kitchenaid nerd 2/6/2019

We've been using a slightly older version of this unit for about 5 years. We have a 3000 square foot house with a small kitchen. I throw money at the small kitchen to give the kitchen maximum value and learned that the oven, sink, and refrigerator are areas where a homeowner should focus money and effort. The oven exceeds all expectations with some comments. In general, I became a Kitchenaid nerd. The oven sucked me into the brand due to the quality and performance. The left front burner is powerful and deserves respect. A very large pot on the stove can cause the counter to get singed. Make sure the range leveling feet are set to the highest setting. The lower oven lower rack can be slippery causing a glass plate to slide off the rack into the back of the oven when drawing the rack out of the oven to inspect the food. It never happened but I was concerned about the consequence. I fixed the problem with a steel bumper I bolted to the rack. The stupid cat walks on the oven and sometimes steps on the knobs. We were on vacation and a family member checked on the house. Yeah, the stupid cat spun the knob causing gas to fill the house which could have killed our daughter and level the house. I believe the new stoves have the problem fixed. We take the knobs off when on vacation. In general, all food cooks quicker than expected due to the convection feature. The stove is slow to warm, however the outcome is very forgiving and anyone needing the food to come out well for a house full of guests should consider this oven.

good performance in the short term

blueno 2/1/2019

My range is 8 years old and has been increasingly dysfunctional for 4. The lower door will not close sufficient to turn off light and on fan, and two of the burner knobs refuse to turn on (a blessing they did not jam in the on position). I bought Kitchenaid "for the way it's made" and both stove and fridge have become semi operational since year 1 for the fridge and 4 for the stove.

Dual Fuel Oven

Gary52 1/22/2019

We have had this range for almost a month now and have had never had anything like it. My last range was a dual fuel top end thermador which I thought was the best, however my new kitchenaid runs rings around it. The heat from the gas range is remarkable. I love the center burner where you can put an extreamely large pot on it or use the griddle cover and do pancakes eggs and bacon on it. The split oven is like bakeing in heaven and has the options that I wish my top of the line thermador had. If your looking for a duel fuel range/oven look no further. This will amaze you.

NOT OFF TO A GREAT START!

Carolina Tarheel Cook 1/20/2019

I was excited to get this range/oven and had hoped to post a stellar review, but unfortunately I cannot do so at this time. I am happy with the range itself so far, but am frustrated with KitchenAid as a company. First the frustrations, then the review of the product itself: 1. The grates for the cooktop are specific for left and right-my unit arrived with 2 left grates. I called KitchenAid customer service and asked them to overnight a right grate to me. A nice young man named Darnell said per his supervisor the best they could do was 2-day shipping. This was a Thursday morning about 10 AM and per Darnell I should have the replacement grates by Saturday. Well, Saturday has come and gone, and no grates. Today is Sunday, so KitchenAid customer service is closed. Tomorrow is a holiday (MLK Day), so I am not expecting delivery or availability of customer service to obtain a status report then, either. Darnel went on to say this grate problem has been occurring recently. I understand that it would be too expensive and time-consuming to check all units already crated, but if a company has a known problem, shouldn't there be an urgency about resolving the customer issue and a mechanism in place (ie, overnight 1-day shipping) to promptly correct the known issue? 2. The website states "power cord not included" (ridiculous in itself for a major electric appliance costing $2500). For some reason there was a cord with ours...Alas, Kitchen Aid has not put anywhere on their website nor have they apparently told anyone at their retailers that this unit requires a 4-prong connector of some sort-ours was a 3-prong and so there was a delay and some electrical engineering that had to be accomplished before the unit could be installed. Bottom line: check your wiring before you order to avoid hookup problems. If you get duplicate grates as I did, stick to your guns and insist on 1-day shipping...I wish I had insisted on speaking to the supervisor myself. Now, the product itself: I was replacing a JennAir Dual Fuel Double oven that I had used quite happily for 13 years until the upper oven shorted out and destroyed the control panel; I knew I wanted gas cooktop and 2 ovens again. I first considered the Samsung FlexDuo, but a reading of many reviews indicated problems with the ovens heating accurately and maintaining accurate temperature. Online research and reading of customer reviews led me to the KFDD500ESS. The unit is beautiful, and I like the look and heavy feel of the grates (or should I say "grate" in my case???). Since I have only half of a cooktop that is useable, I have not been able to test all the features. However, I have found that the two burners I can use have performed well. I am not sure what the actual output of the largest burner is, as website info indicates both 16,000 and 17,000 BTU...clarity here would be helpful...but it cooks well so far. My husband feels it takes longer than our JennAir did to boil water for tea. I have used both ovens and they have also performed well. They preheat fairly quickly, contrary to the experience of one reviewer. A separate probe indicated that the upper oven heated to 349 when set to 350, which I would consider to be just fine and within any tolerances. When testing the lower oven, I forgot to look at the probe before I had turned off the oven. I have used convection bake in the lower oven and baked 2 dishes (one upper rack, one lower) at the same time. I set the bake temp 25 degrees lower than the recipe and cooked for the normal time. I have not tried EasyConvect. In my old JennAir use of more than one rack never worked well as the dishes would both burn on top for some reason. In this new unit, both dishes were fine. One reviewer said the cooktop knobs were marked in such a way as to make it difficult to tell a burner is on...I find the markings quite clear. I am used to separate lights for each oven, so it is a bit strange for one light switch to light both ovens simultaneously whether you need it or not, but that is a minor issue. Overall, I would give the range itself 4 stars. A "turbo" burner with higher BTU, a timer for each oven (as opposed to the single timer on this unit), and separate oven lights would get another star from me. I think I will be happy with it if I ever get the other grate, and I would recommend it to others. I will try to update this review when my other grate arrives and I have been able to test the griddle burner and the other two burners.

Poor Customer Service

wishmyrangeworked 1/9/2019

There are many things I like about this range as far as the design and the functions I have been able to try, but it arrived missing 2 of the burner caps so I have been unable to actually use 2 of the burners, including the high powered burner I will probably find most useful. Part of our renovation was postponed so we didn't realize the product was defective when it arrived until well after 30 days from purchase, and unfortunately KitchenAid absolutely refuses to send us the two burner caps we presumably paid for but never received. Their only solution is for us to buy the parts ourselves which appear to come in a set of 4 only and at a cost of over $100. Quite disappointing after spending several thousand on what is supposed to be a high quality brand. Extra disappointing because the new dishwasher we just purchased also arrived in a defective state. I received very unhelpful service on the website and Facebook (just reiterating 30 day policy over and over), and my husband talked to someone on the phone who was more helpful and assumed the parts would be sent out (despite knowing it was over 30 days since purchase), but the folks online would not honor this. Looking around social media, I see that many comments and reviews are reflecting similar experiences in the past few months. Bummed I won't want to purchase the fridge I've been wanting after two appliances arrived with issues and now I know KitchenAid customer service isn't focused on standing behind their products and ensuring happy, returning customers! And yes, lesson learned to inspect and document and immediately seek resolution with all larger purchases from here on out. I really hadn't thought there would be an issue or that it would be difficult to resolve it before this happened.

I love the double oven function, that's the reason we purchased it, but it seems like there is an issue with the temperature control

Almost perfect

Snakeladylibrarian 1/2/2019

The hottest burner takes about 15 seconds to light which makes me wonder if there's something wrong with it. We have a warranty but we bought the stove online and I'm concerned it's going to be a hassle so right now we're just dealing with it. Love the double oven, the griddle is fantastic, and baking quality is excellent.

Poor Desig- Knobs get HOT when oven is on.

Dan Sm 12/28/2018

I loved the idea of 2 ovens, particularly the smaller oven to warm up quicker. However, the reality is that this is not the best design. When the upper oven is on, the knobs and surrounding metal gets really hot. Also the bottom oven door opens to the floor. It's also difficult to get pizzas or large items out- don't trust the bottom rack to slide out and help. The bottom rack has no "stop" or lip so if you slide it out, your dish slides out to the back and falls in the oven floor. Poor design, regretful purchase.

We are in seventh heaven!

Condonk8 12/28/2018

We recently moved to MT. and needed a new stove for our home. We went in with one idea and purchased instead the GREAT KitchenAid Deal Fuel. I wanted to get rid of my counter little oven and can't believe how awesome the features are. Can't think of one bad thing to mention. We love it

Safety Hazzard Very Dangerous

Big David 12/20/2018

I enjoy everything about this range EXCEPT the fact that if the power blinks while you have a top burner in use the gas valves closes, flame goes out, and then since the power comes right back on the gas valve opens back up and allows gas to fill your house since there is no longer a flame! This is extremely dangerous! Poor design!!!! Kitchenaid should have a fix for this before it causes someone to loose their home and/or life!

We've had this for about a month and are very happy with it the middle griddle. The double oven also makes cooking more efficient.

One Major Issue

peachy3670 12/2/2018

I would have given this range 5 stars +++ except for one thing. It will not unlock the oven doors when the self clean has finished and I have to trick it to unlock the doors. It happened the first time I cleaned the oven about 8 months after purchase. At that time, it was still under warranty so I called Kitchenaid and was referred to a repairman to call. He came out and could not figure out what the problem was and said he thought it had to do with the motherboard of the range. When he left, he said he was going to research it and would get back with me. Since it is something that I don't think about unless it happens and I don't clean my range that often since it doesn't need it, it was quite some time (a year or so) later that I realized I had never heard back from him. Great service huh? So since I only need to clean the ovens about once a year, I have just been limping along with it and tricking it every time I clean them. This last time tho, when I cleaned it, it did as it always does and did not unlock either oven. So I tricked it (that is to start a self clean and immediately cancel it as I think part of the problem is that it will not unlock the doors if the ovens are warm at all). When I did that it unlocked the bottom oven only and not the top. It has taken me some time and effort to get it to unlock the top. I am at the point that I may just take my pliers and break off the lock on both ovens, since it looks like it would be easy to break off, and then I won't have to deal with the problem any more. I am super ticked about it though because I paid more for this range than any I have ever purchased in my 67 years and for the amount it costs, it should at least work like it should for the time it is under warranty. (Until I purchased this range, I had never in my life had to call a repairman for any other stove I have had)

Problem with door lining

VSwoodard 11/9/2018

I have had this range for 2 1/2 years and it WAS my favorite range ever until I noticed that there is a thumbnail size hole in the blue lining of the oven door. This range cost way too much to have this problem so soon when I assumed that, as pricey as it was, it would last me many years.

Adequate but room for improvement

jeannec 11/6/2018

I bought this range because I wanted a gas cooktop and two ovens. There's not a lot of options out there, and this one is working out pretty well. I wish the grates on the top of the stove were a little closer together - it's difficult to balance small pots without them wobbling. And the marking of the controls makes it difficult to realize that a burner is still on - I have left one on the lowest setting overnight. And I wish the central burner for the griddle had a higher flame, but once the griddle (which comes with the stove) heats up for a while, the food does brown. It was a bonus to see the pretty blue enamel interior of each oven.

i love the stove

joyboy 11/2/2018

We bought this stove at Sears in Brunswick, GA back in February of 2018 and we were told the stove was being discontinued and for that reason they did not have the broiler pan or the iron griddle that normally came with the stove. Is there anyway I can get the correct griddle that was made for the range top center burner? I recently went to the Sears store in Waycross and they have the stove, but wouldn't part with the griddle! They informed me the stove is not discontinued.

Kitchenaide Stove

We really love the design of the this oven. We owned this design in Jennair previously but Jennair no longer has this design. The cook top, dual oven size, and function of this oven is perfect for our life style.

Love the double oven. Wish all burners were as good as the front left, or that at least front two were both strong

Liz01 10/8/2018

This is the first gas burner stove I have ever owned. I love how much faster I can cook things. The electric ovens are also great (but also cook faster, so I have had to adjust cook times on my favorite recipes.) The Range is also very good looking. The blue interior to the ovens was a special added touch.
