The worst appliance I have ever owned. Do not even waste your time with this refrigerator. I bought this on 11-19-23 on 11-24-24, the condenser went out. It is cheaper for me to buy a new refrigerator than it is to get the part replaced. Frigidaire offered me nothing. If they cannot even guarantee their products to last longer than 12 months, they are not worth the price they are charging. I will never own another Frigidaire product. Save yourself the trouble and buy Whirlpool.

We purchased this fridge a week ago and it has not functioned correctly since we have gotten it. Despite unplugging it twice and setting the thermostat to the highest possible temperature, it continues to freeze our food. Internal temperature is 26 degrees.

My only compliant about this refrigerator is that it is slightly loud when it is running. I didn't notice my old one before and this one I can hear from the living room sofa. However, the refrigerator is beautiful and the ice maker is fantastic. The bottom ice maker holds a LOT of ice and we never have to worry about running out. The drawers and inside are functional and look nice. Overall I would recommend this refrigerator.

I purchased the GRFS2853AF on 11-22-2024. So far it is operating perfectly. Ice make with water in the door is operating perfectly and the ice maker in the freezer is working properly. Both the frig and freezer are operating correctly and holding the temperatures. I also like the smaller ice cubes. I choose Frigidaire because they have been around as long as I can remember, and we had one when I was a small child that lasted until I grew up and moved away. I hope his one last for years like the one we had when I was a child.

At 2 days old, the in-door ice dispenser stopped working. Now, at 1 week old, the in-door water dispenser is dripping bad enough to leave a puddle. When I called Service, the nearest appointment was 10 days away. When they scheduled that appointment, they gave an 8 HOUR window, so now I have to take an entire day off of work to service a brand new $2,000 refrigerator. Horrible!

Just what we were looking for to purchase

Our 16-year-old refrigerator was having ice making and water dispensing issues. Not worth it to spend hundreds to hopefully repair it. I'm an ice guy and we need the filtered water so it was an easy decision, plus Lowe's had a sale going on. It took us less than 15 minutes to find the model with the features we wanted. This Gallery model is perfect: It has five (5) lights inside so you can see everything, the crisper drawers are great. The water filter location is much better than our original refrigerator and appears it will be easier to replace it, the adjustable temp drawer is a plus, a larger freezer than we had before and the engineers appeared to use every sq inch of space for storage (very smart)! BTW the ice maker is fantastic with a large holding section inside and the ice cubes are just the right size for my sweet tea. Great job Frigidaire and Lowe's.

We have had this refrigerator less than a month, so I am unable to give an in-depth review, but I am happy with it, so far. We replaced a much smaller, top-freezer refrigerator so this seems like a huge improvement. It runs pretty quiet and has so much space. I love the depth and capacity of the deli drawer as well as the large produce drawers. Organizing the bottom freezer has been more of a challenge, but having the smaller drawer helps. Being able to make ice directly to the ice bin in the freezer, as well as access through the door is a nice feature. After looking at many refrigerators in our price range, we chose this one because it seemed the most sturdy and had all of the features we were looking for... large capacity, water and ice access through the door, French doors, adjustable shelves, bottom freezer. Time will tell, but so far we are really happy with this refrigerator and would recommend it to others.

Impossible to get clean

This refrigerator is extremely difficult to clean. You have to take the whole thing apart to mop up a simple spill, and even then you can not clean every part. And after you take the fridge apart, it is extremely difficult to get put back together. I would never have bought this product if I had known that it would be impossible to clean! Not satisfied.

I'm really enjoying the new refrigerator. I love that it dispenses ice on the outside but is also accessible from the freezer. I love the clear drawers because it makes it easy to see everything inside, plus it seems roomier. There is plenty of space in the freezer to separate the meats from the frozen vegetables and freezer meals. I also love the storage in the doors. It's easier to organize my condiments, sauces, etc.

This is our first French door style. Frigidaire has the best drawer supports and easy shelving adjustment in this price range (sub $2000) plus easy to learn controls and features. It closes well, has well lighted interior and is quiet. The ice and water delivery is working well and accepts a large bottle. We are learning the advantages of the crisper and meat zones. Very happy with this feature set.
